Bo has been an A&P-IA in the industry for the past 15 years, doing maintenance on types of aircraft in places like the Florida Keys, the Bahamas and the Central United States. He managed to get his rating as a multiengine commercial intrument pilot by performing a variety of trade-offs in exhange for flight time. To this day, he has accumulated over 2000 hrs PIC time in many types of aircraft ranging from a Piper Tri-pacer to a Pressurized C337 (Skymaster). And a good chunk of that time has been in a taildragger. Bo has completed ferry flight missions across the Atlantic Ocean, the Eastern most Bahama islands, and in and out of the private strips along the Florida Keys.

The joy and gratification of performing those duties and meeting the different kinds of people will always be a special part of his life. But, in 1997 Bo decided to come back to the Nutmeg State were family and friends have always been. His company, Touchdown Aviation, LLC., was established in May of 2000 at the now decommissioned Mountain Meadow (a.k.a. Johnnycake) airport. He and his loyal dog, Blade, are now based at Simsbury airport 10nm due Northwest of Hartford.
