Simsbury Airport, near Bradley International in central Connecticut, is a small and friendly country airport convenient to Hartford as well as the many attractions of the Farmington Valley. It is a non-towered public use airport, maintained and operated by the non-profit Simsbury Flying Club for the benefit of its members and transient general aviation aircraft.
Self-service 100LL fuel is available 24/7. Future Flyers of Ct. provides full service
flight instruction in a Cessna 172. We are home to EAA Chapter 324. Our aircraft repair shop is Simsbury Aircraft Maintenance. The airport is open year-round and pilot-controlled runway lighting provides 24-hour operation. The 2205 ft. paved runway is in excellent condition and the approaches are quite clear. There are no parking or tiedown charges for short-term transient aircraft.

An estimated 12,000 people attended the 2012 Simsbury Fly-In and enjoyed seeing hundreds of visiting airplanes, antique cars and exhibitors' products along with fly-bys and great food. It was a wonderful family event on a glorious sunny day. Click on the FLY-IN link above for more photos and other information. The 2013 Fly-In will be on Sunday, September 15th.
